Job summary

AV is seeking a Vice-President level Uncrewed Systems (UxS) Business Group Chief Engineer (BGCE) to serve as the technical authority for the UxS group. The BGCE leads a team of engineers to ideate, develop, launch, and sustain products across the lifecycle, shaping concepts of operations and roadmaps to meet business goals.

The role chairs technical review boards, drives RCCA and engineering change processes, and partners with Customers, Product Line Managers, and CTO to deliver program success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years in aerospace product design and sustainment.
• 10+ years leading large technical teams through product lifecycle.
• Experience with drawings, BOMs, and Engineering Change systems.

Responsibilities

• Personifies the AV pillar of “Innovation” and oversees development and sustainment activities.
• Represents technical interests to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drives technical responses for business proposals and RCCA activities.
• Leads multi-disciplinary teams to meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements.
• Collaborates with Product Line Management, Customers, and CTO on roadmaps and tasking.
