Job description

Position Summary

Reporting to the SVP of Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Capability Building, the Vice President of Transformation will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to translate RealTruck’s strategy into clear priorities, aligned plans, and measurable results. The role will lead the change management PMO team, including two direct reports, and coordinate dotted-line resources across the business. It will also support regular interactions with the Board of Directors as the company reports progress, risks, key decisions, and value delivery. This is not a reporting-only PMO role. The Vice President will work directly with initiative leaders, connect dependencies across a complex operating and systems environment, remove roadblocks, and take hands‑on operational responsibility for select initiatives. RealTruck is operating in a rapidly changing landscape. Macroeconomic pressure, rising competitive intensity, and fundamental shifts across the automotive aftermarket are changing how the company must compete. At the same time, recent M&A activity has fundamentally reshaped the business, increasing its scale, complexity, and need for greater integration across brands, operations, and systems. Together, these changes require greater speed, focus, and execution discipline. In response, RealTruck is entering an exciting next chapter as we shape and deliver the RealTruck 3.0 strategy—building on our strengths, moving with greater pace, and turning strategic ambition into lasting financial and operational performance.

Core Functions
  • Hands‑On Initiative Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Take direct ownership of select high‑priority RealTruck 3.0 initiatives and work side by side with functional leaders to deliver results.
  • Support or lead work across dealer growth, distribution network and inventory redesign, manufacturing overhead, and business‑model simplification.
  • Drive execution across SKU and product‑line rationalization, S&OP at the SKU level, order visibility, and service parts and warranty.
  • Move quickly from diagnosis to action, make trade‑offs, remove roadblocks, and embed changes in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Transformation Leadership and RealTruck 3.0 Delivery:
  • Translate RealTruck 3.0 priorities into clear plans, milestones, owners, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with the ELT to lead the enterprise transformation cadence and hold initiative leaders accountable for delivery.
  • Identify risks early, remove roadblocks, and elevate decisions required to protect timing and value.
  • Prepare clear ELT and Board of Directors updates focused on progress, impact, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
  • Change Management PMO and Governance:
  • Lead and develop the change management PMO team, including two direct reports and dotted‑line resources across functions.
  • Set practical standards for charters, milestones, scorecards, financial tracking, risk management, dependency mapping, and decision escalation.
  • Build one fact base for initiative status, value capture, resource needs, and dependencies across RealTruck’s complex operations and systems landscape.
  • Anticipate where changes in one initiative, function, process, or system will affect another, and drive integrated plans before issues reach execution.
  • Keep governance simple, action oriented, and focused on delivery rather than administration.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, initiative leaders, and functional teams.
  • Influence across the organization and drive action through dotted‑line teams and shared accountability.
  • Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes with clarity and urgency.

  • For candidates from top‑tier management consulting firms, experience at the Associate Partner, Principal, or equivalent level is preferred.
