Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a VP of Technology Sourcing & Procurement to define and execute a sourcing strategy for a $4B annual technology spend. You will lead a 50-person team, partner with executives, and drive cost efficiencies while ensuring supplier performance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy: Partner with stakeholders and CPO to develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers; negotiate contracts and performance.
• Transformation: Drive agentic transformation and process streamlining in Sourcing & Procurement.
• Cost Management: Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and optimization.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Improve visibility, flexibility, and resilience of the supply chain.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain engagement with executive stakeholders to align objectives.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance and implement risk mitigation.
• Data Analysis: Use analytics to monitor KPIs and report to senior leadership.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Lead sustainable procurement practices.
• Budget Management: Manage department budget and forecast spend with Finance partners.
