Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in application development or systems engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on API development using FastAPI, Pydantic, or Django.
• Experience designing microservices architectures, including service decomposition and inter-service communication.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Deep understanding of system architecture, data flows, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Strong track record of unit testing, TDD, and automated quality controls.
• SME in at least one application, platform, or service domain.
• Working knowledge of LLMs and AI governance in enterprise environments.
• Experience contributing to LLM-enabled solutions (copilots, automation, analytics).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI governance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deliver Python-based credit risk analytics applications.
• Partner with risk, product, and technology leadership to integrate platforms and enable new capabilities.
• Resolve high-impact initiatives through deep analysis of business processes and system flows.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture, data, security, and infrastructure blueprints.
• Establish engineering standards for coding, testing, CI/CD, and production readiness.
• Design and evolve microservices-based architectures with scalability and observability.
• Apply AI and GenAI capabilities to modernize workflows and unlock insights.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and allocate work as needed.
• Apply risk and regulatory considerations to protect data and comply with laws.
