Job summary

Goldman Sachs Bank AG in Salt Lake City is seeking a Vice President to lead Tax Information Reporting. You will drive complex reporting across US and Canadian obligations, ensuring risk‑aware, timely outcomes and scalable solutions for multiple business segments.

You will own regulatory delivery, guide analysts, and collaborate with Technology, Tax, Legal, and Compliance to strengthen controls and reduce manual work in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in Operations, Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, or related field.
• Experience leading complex operational processes, regulatory deliverables, or control‑focused initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess workflows and identify risk.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate with senior partners across multiple functions.
• Strong judgment and ownership mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Advanced Excel and strong data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Tax Information Reporting processes across US and Canadian reporting obligations.
• Own escalation review and resolution for inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate outcomes.
• Provide technical and operational guidance to analysts and associates.
• Drive regulatory filing readiness through data quality, reconciliations, and control execution.
• Partner with Technology, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Operations to design scalable solutions.
• Identify risks, escalate appropriately, and lead remediation through process improvements.
• Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives reducing manual work and increasing transparency.
• Support management reporting, issue tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain a deep understanding of evolving tax reporting requirements and translate changes into operations.
