Goldman Sachs Group in New York seeks a Vice President to lead the digitization and modernization of tax documentation and information reporting. You will transform how clients provide forms (W-8, W-9) and enable digital delivery of 1099/1042-S, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Tax Operations, Engineering and Tax legal teams to implement digital intake, workflow orchestration and document management.

Qualifikationen

• 9–14 years in Tax Operations/transformation with Tax Tech or Information Reporting.
• Strong understanding of W-8/W-9 collection, validation & maintenance.
• Experience with information reporting such as 1099, 1042-S.
• Proven digitization of document-heavy processes.
• Experience defining business requirements with technology teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills.
• Translate operational pain points into practical process improvements.

Aufgaben

• Lead digitization of tax documentation collection and validation.
• Redesign onboarding and remediation workflows to cut manual outreach.
• Partner with Tax Operations, Engineering, Tax legal and Client Coverage teams on digital intake and workflow orchestration.
• Define business requirements, flows, exception rules and success metrics for tax platforms.
• Improve data quality with upfront validations and automated controls.
• Drive OCR, document extraction and document intelligence implementations where appropriate.
• Support modernization of information reporting, including electronic delivery of forms.
• Analyze metrics to reduce cycle times and increase client self-service.
• Act as liaison between Tax Operations users and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform testing, UAT, and post-production support for transformations.
