Job summary

TP Mechanical, LLC. seeks a Vice President, Talent Development to lead the enterprise strategy for leadership development, succession planning, and skilled trades advancement. You will build a Center of Excellence, align programs with business needs, and partner with executives to elevate organizational capability.

The role oversees onboarding, learning technologies, and measurement of learning impact while driving growth and readiness across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, OD, business, education, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Talent Development or related areas.
• Experience building enterprise learning strategies and centers of excellence.
• Experience designing exec development, succession planning, and technical trainings.
• Proven success in talent reviews for senior leadership.
• Knowledge of adult learning, competency models, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience with LMS, talent platforms, and learning analytics.
• Experience supporting construction, industrial, manufacturing, or skilled trades sectors.

Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise Talent Development with a Center of Excellence delivering scalable learning.
• Designs and executes enterprise talent development aligned to business goals.
• Leads three pathways: Executive, Leadership, and Trades/Technical Development.
• Partners with executives to identify development priorities and improve performance.
• Oversees succession planning and talent reviews for leadership pipelines.
• Develops competency models, career pathways, and curricula for mobility.
• Manages learning technologies, curriculum, and measurement of impact.
• Develops onboarding and career development programs to boost engagement.
• Drives budgets, strategy, and performance objectives for capability growth.
