  • Accounting and controllership: Oversee the monthly close, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, revenue recognition, internal controls, and GAAP‑compliant financial reporting. Manage external auditors, tax advisors, regulatory filings, and sales tax obligations.

Requirements
  • Finance leadership experience: At least 8 years of progressive finance leadership experience, currently at the SVP level or as a VP ready to step into a broader executive role.
  • Enterprise SaaS expertise: Experience across the full finance function at a product‑led enterprise B2B software company with approximately $50M–$100M in ARR, larger enterprise contracts, and a subscription or platform business model.
  • Strategic and operational financial management: Demonstrated success connecting financial planning to business operations and helping a company transition from cash‑flow neutrality to growing cash flow through disciplined investment and operational decisions.
  • FP&A and SaaS metrics: Deep expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and SaaS metrics, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations.
  • Accounting and compliance: Hands‑on experience with monthly close processes, GAAP reporting, internal controls, and revenue recognition under ASC 606, including variable consideration.
