Job summary

State Street is seeking a Sustainable Investing Research Analyst in Boston to lead quantitative research projects and drive the development of sustainable investing capabilities. You will support investment teams by delivering rigorous data-driven insights and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in quantitative research and data analysis in asset management
Understanding of the investment process and how sustainability factors can be integrated to meet client objectives
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Self-starter with ability to set priorities and execute research projects
Ability to collaborate successfully in a global team setting
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, CFA or related accreditation a plus

Responsibilities

Lead quantitative research projects enabling sustainable investing product innovation
Develop credible implementation methodologies to new investment approaches
Partner with PM teams to conduct asset class-specific research on sustainability factors
Oversee implementation of sustainable investment capabilities in internal systems with strong data governance
Develop thought leadership pieces to demonstrate sustainable investing capabilities
