Job summary

State Street is seeking a highly motivated Vice President to join the Corporate Strategy team in Boston. You will lead complex strategy projects from problem definition through recommendations and execution planning, partnering with senior leaders across the organization.

You will frame ambiguous issues, direct data-driven analyses, and craft compelling narratives for the Executive Committee and Board, while building trusted relationships and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate strategy, or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
• Experience in financial services is strongly preferred, especially asset management, capital markets or wealth services
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to use research and AI-enabled tools to improve analysis

• Framing ambiguous enterprise and business issues and developing hypotheses
• Managing strategy projects end to end including scope, workplan, and execution planning
• Directing quantitative and qualitative analysis and synthesizing findings
• Developing executive-ready materials tailored to senior management and the Board
