Job summary
Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Vice President, Supply Chain to lead transportation, equipment operations, and strategic procurement across the division. This executive role reports to the Division President and focuses on transforming vendor relationships, sourcing strategy, and total cost of ownership.
The candidate will build S&OP capability, optimize rail and barge logistics, and stand up category management to drive margin growth while coordinating with aggregates, ready mix,
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations within heavy industrial or construction materials industries.
- Deep expertise in rail logistics; experience managing Class I railroad relationships and optimizing rail network performance.
- Experience managing a multi-site, asset-heavy supply chain and procurement function with P&L accountability.
Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year transportation and equipment strategy aligned to division growth.
- Design and implement S&OP processes linking demand forecasting, production planning, transportation capacity, and financial targets.
- Identify and execute modal optimization opportunities across truck, rail, and barge.
- Build rapid-mobilization playbooks for equipment, fleet, and portable-plant support.
- Lead safety standards integration into rail, barge, fleet, and equipment operations.
