Job summary

Index Search is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Supply Chain Automation to lead a multi-year modernization journey for a national distribution network. You will own the WMS implementation, robotics integration, and advanced warehouse technologies across flagship centers and beyond.

You will collaborate with operations, IT, and executive leadership to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, accuracy, throughput, and scalability, while developing your team and expanding successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business)
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain, distribution, logistics, or warehouse leadership experience
• Proven success leading a full Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation
• Experience leading automation initiatives involving robotics, AI, or machine learning
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership with stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the full implementation of a new WMS and warehouse automation initiative.
• Drive robotics implementation from proof of concept through deployment.
• Remove implementation roadblocks and ensure projects stay on schedule and deliver results.
• Partner with operations, engineering, IT, and executive leadership throughout implementation.
• Oversee process improvements to increase productivity, accuracy, throughput, and scalability.
• Manage internal resources and external implementation consultants for successful outcomes.
• Lead expansion across additional distribution facilities after flagship completion.
• Leverage AI and machine learning to modernize supply chain operations.
• Be a hands-on player-coach, developing your team while remaining involved in execution.
