Overview

Position Overview

The Vice President of Supply Chain is responsible for leading IVC’s enterprise-wide demand planning, supply planning, inventory strategy, and supply chain execution across the business. This role serves as a strategic business partner to ensure the company has the right products, materials, capacity, and inventory in place to meet customer demand, support profitable growth, and strengthen operational performance.

This leader will set the vision and operating model for demand and supply chain planning, drive disciplined execution across functions, and lead continuous improvement efforts that improve service levels, working capital, forecast accuracy, supply reliability, and end-to-end visibility.

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise supply chain strategy aligned with corporate objectives, growth priorities, customer requirements, and operational goals.
  • Lead demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, production planning, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Own the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OP processes, including executive reviews that align demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and financial objectives.
  • Build forecasting excellence through statistical forecasting, demand sensing, forecast accuracy measurement, scenario planning, and forecast value-add analysis.
  • Develop long-range capacity, inventory, and supply network strategies that support growth, customer service, supply reliability, and working capital objectives.
  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Manufacturing, and IT leaders to drive effective end-to-end business decisions and execution.
  • Lead supply chain systems and digital transformation, including ERP enhancements, advanced planning and scheduling solutions, analytics, automation, master data governance, and AI-enabled decision support.
  • Establish enterprise performance metrics, governance, and accountability for service, forecast accuracy, schedule performance, inventory, cost, and working capital.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process standardization across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Lead supply chain risk management, including supply continuity, supplier performance, logistics disruptions, inventory exposure, and business continuity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable trade requirements, including HTS classification, customs, country-of-origin, and import/export regulations.
  • Build strategic relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, technology partners, and other critical external partners.
  • Evaluate and recommend investments, organizational capabilities, technologies, and process improvements that strengthen supply chain performance and scalability.
  • Build and develop a high-performing organization through servant leadership, clear accountability, talent development, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Provide senior leadership with timely reporting, insights, scenarios, risks, and recommendations related to supply chain performance and strategic priorities.
  • Serve as a key contributor to enterprise strategic planning and operational decision-making.

Qualifications

The Candidate

Education, Experience, and Licenses:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated success leading end-to-end supply chain functions within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience developing and executing supply chain strategies that improve service, cost, inventory, and operational performance.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certification such as ASCM/APICS CSCP or CPIM is preferred. Additional credentials in demand planning, IBP, logistics, project management, or operational excellence, including IBF CPF, Oliver Wight, CLTD, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma, are valued.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Planning & IBP Leadership

  • Expert knowledge of IBP, Executive S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, replenishment, inventory optimization, and financial integration.
  • Proven ability to lead Executive IBP processes that align commercial demand, supply capability, capacity, inventory investment, and financial objectives.

Demand Planning Systems

  • Experience with advanced planning platforms such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Logility, Anaplan, Oracle, o9, or comparable solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting, forecast value add, demand sensing, segmentation, scenario planning, and service-level optimization.

ERP & Digital Supply Chain

  • Demonstrated experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable manufacturing systems.
  • Experience leading ERP enhancements or implementations, planning system deployments, master data governance, process standardization, and technology-enabled transformation.

Scheduling & Capacity Planning

  • Strong knowledge of finite scheduling, Advanced Planning and Scheduling systems, production planning, rough-cut and detailed capacity planning, constraint management, and schedule optimization.

Global Supply Chain

  • Working knowledge of HTS classification, trade compliance, customs, country-of-origin requirements, import/export regulations, and international sourcing.

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Demonstrated servant leader who builds trust, sets clear expectations, holds teams accountable, and develops future leaders.
  • Proven success building high-performing teams through coaching, employee development, succession planning, and organizational capability building.
  • Experience leading transformation and change across functions while creating a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence decisions and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
