Charter School Growth Fund is seeking a Vice President of Structured Finance to join during a period of growth. This role blends strategic finance leadership with venture-like investment discipline to support high-quality charter school networks nationwide.

Qualifications

• Finance leadership at a charter school management organization preferred.
• 12-20+ years of relevant work experience in finance leadership, private equity, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated financial leadership and expertise to evaluate financial and real estate investments.
• Deep commitment to CSGF's mission and K-12 education.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work between high-level strategy and detailed tasks.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic thought partner and advisor to portfolio leadership and boards on finance, facilities, and governance strategies.
• Provide expertise on strategic planning processes, including financial models, growth strategies, and business plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school operators and be trusted internally and externally.
• Lead end-to-end due diligence and investment analysis for charter school operators including grants and loans.
• Conduct financial modeling, multi-year projections, risk assessment, governance evaluation, and facilities strategies.
• Prepare and present investment proposals to the Investment Committee to support funding decisions.
• Oversee ongoing loan monitoring, covenant compliance, and borrower support.
• Source, negotiate, and structure facilities loan investments considering real estate, leadership, and market dynamics.
• Develop relationships with regional partners in policy, development, and financing to strengthen the ecosystem.
• Represent CSGF externally to broaden stakeholder engagement in the charter school field.
