Job summary

Partner Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategy Consulting in the United States to lead a growth-focused practice serving major organizations. You will translate consumer and market insights, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities into integrated strategic advisory services for enterprise clients.

You will build and lead a multidisciplinary team, shape engagements from initial conversations to implementation, and drive executive-level relationships and revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in strategy consulting and executive advisory work.
  • Experience building or scaling a consulting practice, capability, solution portfolio, or multidisciplinary strategy team.
  • Proven ability to establish enduring relationships with senior executives and generate significant consulting or advisory revenue.
  • Strong experience integrating consumer and market insights, qualitative and quantitative research, analytics, and other evidence into business and growth strategies.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across strategy, research, analytics, innovation, activation, and implementation.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Strategy Consulting based in the United States. This executive role will lead and build a strategy consulting practice focused on helping major organizations make better growth, customer, marketing, innovation, and competitive decisions. You will translate consumer and market insights, analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and activation expertise into integrated strategic advisory services. As a trusted advisor to senior executives, you will simplify complex business challenges and turn evidence into practical strategies and implementation guidance. The role combines practice building, client leadership, commercial growth, talent development, and thought leadership. You will work across multidisciplinary teams spanning research, analytics, strategy, activation, and industry expertise to create high-value client solutions. Accountabilities

  • Establish and institutionalize new strategy and decision-enablement capabilities, helping internal teams understand and effectively position integrated consulting services.
  • Develop a clear bridge between research, analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and activation services and higher-value strategic advisory engagements.
  • Advise senior executives on growth, customer, innovation, competitive, organizational, and strategic business challenges.
  • Create decision frameworks that simplify ambiguity, align stakeholders, and translate complex evidence into practical recommendations and implementation guidance.
  • Partner with Growth, Research, Analytics, Industry Practice, Activation, and Business Development leaders to identify opportunities and shape engagements from initial conversations through implementation.
  • Expand executive-level relationships beyond traditional insights functions and develop scalable advisory offerings that address broader enterprise challenges.
  • Lead strategic pursuits, executive presentations, conferences, and industry discussions while strengthening market visibility and thought leadership.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop diverse consulting talent and external experts to build a recognized center of strategic excellence.
  • Drive measurable growth through increased pipeline, consulting revenue, account expansion, strategic engagements, and adoption of integrated AI-enabled consulting solutions.
  • Establish performance measures that demonstrate client impact, strategic value, practice growth, and the effectiveness of the consulting organization.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in strategy consulting and executive advisory work, particularly supporting enterprise or Fortune 500 growth clients.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling a consulting practice, capability, solution portfolio, or multidisciplinary strategy team.
  • Proven ability to establish enduring relationships with senior executives and generate significant consulting or advisory revenue.
  • Strong experience integrating consumer and market insights, qualitative and quantitative research, analytics, and other evidence into business and growth strategies.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across strategy, research, analytics, innovation, activation, and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to move from insights and activation into broader growth strategy, decision enablement, and implementation advisory.
  • Strong executive facilitation, communication, presentation, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Graduate degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, Organizational Leadership, Design, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in Travel & Hospitality, Technology & Platforms, Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, Retail, and/or Healthcare is valuable but not required.
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and the ability to connect analytical findings to practical business decisions.
  • Proven coaching and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to lead through influence in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Curiosity about markets, consumer behavior, business strategy, emerging technologies, and AI, combined with a strong commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, complex environments while simplifying challenges and maintaining a clear focus on client and business outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa or employment sponsorship.
