Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB in New York is seeking a Lead Auditor to conduct corporate regulatory compliance audits from planning to final report. You will assess risks, validate controls, supervise a team of auditors, and ensure timely, comprehensive deliverables with oversight from the Local Head of Audit or Audit Supervisor.

You will lead assignments focused on regulatory compliance, validate action plans, and coordinate with stakeholders to finalize reports and ensure follow-up on corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Assess the risks of the audited activities and validate the related control environment for its design and operating effectiveness
• Review and challenge the processes and controls in view of their purpose and mandates and the related risks
• Verify the audited unit’s compliance with internal policies, procedures, laws and regulations
• Monitor fieldwork and adjust audit scope to identified risks
• Maintain communication with the IGE and stakeholders on audit progress within set timeframes
• Escalate major control weaknesses to the Audit Manager/Regional Supervisor/Head of Local Audit as required
• Manage interviews and debriefing meetings with Management affected by the audit
• Finalize responses to draft audit reports with Management and prepare final publication
• Document and memorialize audit deliverables per IGE/IGL methodologies and Audit Charter
• Monitor and maintain assigned Auditable Objects for coverage
