Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President in Commercial Banking (CB) Finance to lead financial analytics and reporting for senior leadership. You will build and review financial models, conduct deep-dive analyses, and present insights to influence strategic decisions across the CB segment.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and leadership skills, with experience in finance functions, P&L and balance sheet drivers, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis and/or Accounting.
• Experience in corporate financial analytics with understanding of a Bank's balance sheet, P&L and key drivers.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinker.
• Excellent verbal & written communication and relationship management skills, strong executive presence, and ability to tell a story with data.

Responsibilities

• Lead dialogue with senior business leadership to provide insights on trends, financial performance, market strategy and industry trends.
• Develop and present robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for internal clients and senior management.
• Prepare materials and analytics for financial reporting meetings, quarterly reviews, and budgets.
• Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (recurring and ad-hoc).
• Conduct deep dive analyses on key issues impacting clients/business to propose solutions.
• Partner with management and analytics teams to develop insightful reporting focusing on drivers and actionable outcomes.
• Drive value by simplifying processes, accelerating automation and enhancing analytics.
• Lead and manage a team.
