Job summary

iCapital is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to join the Corporate Finance team in New York. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modelling, and performance analysis to support decision making.

You will partner with FP&A, sales, and department leads to develop insights, support monthly and quarterly management reporting, and improve internal controls and reporting processes. Office Monday-Thursday with remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or accounting in financial services or top-tier firms.
• Familiar with private market investments such as private equity and hedge funds is preferred.
• Experience with planning and ERP tools (WorkDay Adaptive, Tableau, Essbase) and GL systems (NetSuite, PeopleSoft, Axiom) is preferred.
• Able to collaborate with business leads on budgeting, forecasting and analytics.
• MBA, CPA, CFA are desirable credentials.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting of revenue, expenses, and metrics with variance analysis.
• Assist in annual budget process and provide detailed client level inputs.
• Develop analytics and KPIs for Management Committee and business leads.
• Partner with FP&A and sales on monthly analyses and variances.
• Contribute to monthly management and quarterly board reporting; consolidate statements and KPI reports.
• Identify process gaps, improve internal controls, and support ad hoc projects and automation.
