You will manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget while collaborating with senior team members and clients.

The role emphasizes messaging, media strategy, rapid-response communications, and senior-level client interaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within a strategic advisory, government relations, or public affairs setting.
  • Proven ability to write, edit, and produce content, including presentations and research documents.
  • Experience working directly with reporters and developing media strategies strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop messaging frameworks, communications plans, talking points, FAQs, briefing materials, presentations, and other strategic communications materials.
  • Draft and edit press releases, statements, op-eds, speeches, executive communications, newsletters, digital content, social media posts, and other client-facing materials.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on messaging, positioning, reputation, and communications opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop and execute earned media strategies, including identifying story opportunities, developing pitches, preparing spokespeople, and engaging reporters and other media stakeholders.
  • Support rapid-response communications, including developing messaging and materials on tight deadlines in response to breaking news and policy developments.
  • Prepare clients and senior executives for media interviews, public appearances, stakeholder meetings, and other high-profile engagements.
