Job Summary

CFSB is a full-service payments, lending and banking provider that delivers global financial services through a personal approach. CFSB is seeking a VP, Senior Portfolio Manager. Reporting to the CCO, the Senior Portfolio Manager (SPM) will be responsible for the ongoingasset management and maintenance of the Bank’s Lending Portfolio. Excellent working knowledge of underwriting and credit risk administration for owner occupied and investment commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, construction and bridge loans and SBA/USDA loan products.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for developing a relationship with each borrowerand completing regularloan monitoring reviews.
• This individual will be responsible for creating and managing the Bank’s TicklerReport monitoring all credit metricsfor each commercial loan in the individual’s assigned portfolio.
• Prepare the financial requestletters to be mailed/emailed to the borrowers requesting updated financialinformation and will mail out and follow up with each borrower to ascertain receipt of the required annual updates.
• Responsible for tracking non-receipt of updated financials and preparing the monthly Fee Assessment Report detailing borrowers who have not complied.
• Monitor and track all loan maturities, modifications, renewals and / or extensions. Conduct analysis and due diligence research and make written recommendations to the CCO and Credit Committee.
• Prepare credit reviews, which may be required on a quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis depending on the overall risk of the credit facility. The credit reviewswill include overallasset quality, includingperformance against original underwriting expectations, review and trend analysis of current financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, leases,personal financial statements, global cash flows, collateral analysis, potential site visits as well as stress testing analysis.
• Conduct regularsite visits and complete site visit reportsfor all commercial and construction loans in the portfolio in accordance with Credit Policies and Procedures.
• Will provide supportas requested by the CCO in managingnon-performing loans, includingbut not limited to conducting site inspections, ordering updated collateral verifications, financial analysis, assisting with preparation of workout plans and preparing quarterly impairment analysis.
• Responsible for preparing or coordinating all credit reports (which may be required on a monthly basis) including but not limited to, Asset Quality, Legal Lending Limit memos, Annual Reviews, PortfolioStress Testing models,Construction Tracking, Post Closing Tracking, Market and Industry Trend analysis, HVCRE, Concentration, Non-Performing, Workout, and Impairment analysis.
• Will need to review and QC loan files (as needed)when requested for audit or regulatory exams.
• Assist the CCO with the quarterly CECL reserve calculation.
• Required to prepare files for audit requests and providing responses to audit questions and follow up.
• Assist the CCO with credit policy and procedural updates.
• Responsible for reviewing and preparing memos for escrow releases.
• The individual will be responsible for conducting the annual reviews on existing approved appraisers and preparing the approval memo for Credit Committee and the BOD.
• Will manage the Post Closing loan process for loans assigned in their portfolio and ensuring that all post-closing borrower conditions have been satisfied.
• The SPM will provide guidance and support to Portfolio Managers on the team.
• Assist the Chief Credit Officer with special projects.

• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite products.

Education, Training,and Experience

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant area of study such as real estate, business administration, accounting or finance.
• Relevant work experience as a Senior Portfolio Manager, preferably with a community bank.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in this role mentoring other team members.
• Credit training (formal or on the job) at a commercial bank, credit union or community development financial institution.
• Experience with loan, legal, collateral documentation and compliance.
  
  

Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000 /year

"Base salary range does not include performance-based bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience."
