BlueCat runs 3 main product lines – Integrity (On Prem DDI – DNS, DHCP & IPAM for large organizations), Edge/Micetro (Cloud Managed DDI), and Live (Network Observability). Each of these product lines additionally enables security intelligence for the organization.

BlueCat is seeking a Head of Portfolio Product Management to drive key initiatives that span the portfolio and expand the company into other network & security categories. This is a senior/exec level individual contributor role, but may evolve to include a small team. Key activities include portfolio strategy, M&A, AI strategy, pricing, packaging, licensing, OEM relationships, and public cloud marketplaces.

The ideal candidate will have experience in progressively more senior product management and corporate strategy roles at on-premises and SaaS companies delivering network management and security solutions to enterprise customers.

Experience:

1. Drive portfolio planning and resource investment rationale across a broad portfolio of products and alignment with other company executives in finance, sales, professional services, and support.
2. Establish a corporate pricing and packaging strategy, including product-led growth.
3. Drive key use-case/technology initiatives (e.g., SaaS, AI, Platforms) across multiple product lines.
4. Develop requirements and build enterprise infrastructure software products and services.
5. Develop strategic plans to accomplish technical and business objectives with product management, executive leadership, and team members.
6. Coach, mentor, and develop talent.

Required Qualifications:

1. 15+ years in product management, including organic growth, partnerships, and acquisitions.
2. 10+ years managing senior individual contributors and other leads/managers.
3. Experience working at C-level or reporting to C-level in organizations with $100M+ revenue.
4. Experience in small companies (around $1B in revenue).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. MBA
2. Background in Computer Science or Engineering
3. Experience in corporate strategy and M&A
4. Experience rationalizing complex pricing models into a coherent strategy
5. Experience onboarding products to public cloud marketplaces
6. Implementing product-led growth initiatives
7. Previous experience at a DDI or Network Observability/Performance Management company
