Job summary

Guggenheim Securities Information Management (GSIM) seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join the Business Engagement team in New York. The ideal candidate will bring strong investment banking or sales & trading experience, exceptional customer focus, and expertise in requirements management.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating BRDs and use cases, conducting vendor evaluations, and guiding technical specifications.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in investment banking.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or IT.
Experience with requirements management and creating functional specs.
Familiarity with investment banking technology solutions.
CBAP or PMI-PBA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements with stakeholders.
Create BRDs, functional specs, and use cases.
Manage vendor evaluations and RFPs.
Translate business needs into technical specifications.
Perform gap analysis and drive process improvements.
Provide subject matter expertise on investment banking processes and technology.
Facilitate workshops and present updates to stakeholders.
Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery.
Lead UAT and support system implementations.
Maintain relationships with clients and manage expectations.
Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.
