Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a research analyst for the Securitized Credit team within GFICC in New York.

You will conduct fundamental research across securitized sectors, focusing on ABS and/or non-agency RMBS, using quantitative and qualitative methods to drive investment performance. You will build models, perform rigorous due diligence, and communicate clear investment opinions to the broader team, PMs, and external participants.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of securitized credit experience across ABS and/or RMBS.
• Knowledge of ABS and/or non-agency RMBS sectors.
• Proficiency with Intex and/or Trepp.
• Strong written and verbal communication under time constraints.
• Team-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sector and issuer due diligence to form investment recommendations.
• Formulate buy/sell recommendations and communicate them with written opinions.
• Monitor market themes to identify investment opportunities.
• Conduct surveillance to identify risks and improve tools.
• Develop models to forecast performance for consumer or real-estate assets.
• Aggregate large data sets to test investment opinions.
• Build relationships with portfolio managers, issuers, rating agencies, and brokers.
