Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management's GFICC Securitized Credit team seeks a research analyst to conduct fundamental research and drive investment performance across securitized credit, focusing on ABS and non-agency RMBS.

You will perform sector/issuer due diligence, formulate buy/sell recommendations, monitor market trends, and develop models to support investment opinions, collaborating with portfolio managers and investment specialists.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of securitized credit experience across sub-sectors
• Knowledge of ABS and/or non-agency RMBS
• Proficiency with Intex and/or Trepp
• Excellent written and verbal communication under time constraints
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive sector and issuer due diligence to formulate investment recommendations
• Formulate buy/sell recommendations and communicate them to investors through written opinions
• Monitor market themes and sector trends to identify opportunities
• Perform surveillance to identify risks and enhance monitoring tools
• Develop models to forecast performance for consumer or real-estate assets
• Analyze large data sets to develop and test investment opinions
• Build relationships with portfolio managers, investment specialists, issuers, rating agencies, and broker-dealers
