Job summary

CM Consulting seeks a Vice President, Scientific Services for the US East Coast to co-lead a premier global account in the rare disease space. You will drive strategic scientific communications, digital projects and medical campaigns across a diverse portfolio of products and assets.

You’ll mentor a high-performing team of scientific writers, shape client partnerships and oversee compliant, high-quality content while identifying opportunities for growth within the account.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, PharmD or other advanced doctoral-level degree required.
• 13+ years of experience in medical communications.
• Rare disease therapy area expertise.
• Exceptional scientific writing and strategic advisory skills.
• Proven experience in people management and team operations.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of scientific writers with mentorship and strategy.
• Build trusted client partnerships and shape medical and commercial strategy.
• Oversee high-quality scientific content across a complex, high-volume account.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and expand client partnerships.
