Job summary

Michigan Certified Development Corporation (MCDC) is seeking a Vice President of SBA 504 Lending to lead SBA 504 loan officers and processors in Michigan. The VP will guide underwriting, structuring and closing activities, and will foster growth through referrals and strategic partnerships.

The role requires extensive SBA experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with up to two onsite days weekly in East Lansing, MI.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of SBA experience, commercial lending, financial analysis or portfolio management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management reflecting the mission and core values.
• Ensure the lending team follows SBA processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop growth strategies and processes.
• Advise on underwriting, closing and referral development for SBA 504 loans.
• Maintain hybrid-remote flexibility and travel as needed to duties.
