AmeriServ Financial Bank is seeking a Retirement Services Officer to administer fiduciary trust accounts and client relationships, focusing on retirement services. The role requires a bachelor's degree in business or accounting and at least five years' experience in retirement services, with advanced credentials preferred.
The incumbent will supervise staff and coordinate with Wealth Management to meet client needs in Johnstown, PA.
Administer fiduciary trust accounts and relationships, primarily retirement services related, while maintaining a high standard of service and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain relationships with plan sponsors.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The employee is frequently required to: 1) Type or otherwise work with fingers; 2) Talk expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers or clients accurately, loudly, or quickly; 3) Hearing – perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with/without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make the discriminations in sound; 4) Specific vision abilities required by this job include: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading along with travel as required. Sedentary work may require occasionally lifting of up to 10 pounds and/or move up to 25 pounds. This work involves sitting most of the time with walking and sitting.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field with five (5) years of direct or related experience in retirement services. An advanced degree or recognized industry certification is required. Maintain all applicable professional credentials and certifications and pursue continuing education opportunities as approved by management to maintain knowledge and proficiency.
