Job summary

AEW seeks a Vice President for Retail Asset Management to lead a portfolio of retail assets, combining valuation, cash-flow modeling, and active asset management. The VP will guide leasing decisions and capital plans while coordinating across leasing, property management, development, construction, and transactions to translate strategy into executable plans.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of relevant commercial real estate experience with exposure to retail asset management.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and lease analysis capabilities.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable asset-level plans.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute asset-level business plans with clear priorities, milestones, risks and returns.
• Evaluate and negotiate major new leases, renewals, restructurings, expansions, relocations and terminations.
• Collaborate with JV partners and third-party management teams to drive value.
• Maintain detailed property cash flow models and valuations and monitor performance.
• Identify placemaking opportunities to improve customer experience and asset value.
• Develop and prioritize annual and long-term capital plans.
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and due diligence.
