Job summary

Phaxis seeks a VP of Repo Collateral to lead the firm's collateral management for repo activities, overseeing daily operations and ensuring risk controls.

You will drive margining, substitutions, settlement across bilateral, tri-party, and Sponsored Repo, and lead a team to deliver operational excellence.

The role partners with internal stakeholders and external banks, supports new products and system enhancements, and ensures regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in repo/collateral management with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of repo markets, margining, and collateral frameworks.
• Experience with tri-party platforms, clearing systems, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee margining, substitutions, and settlement across bilateral, tri-party, and Sponsored Repo
• Lead and develop the collateral team, driving performance and operational excellence
• Enhance collateral optimization, funding efficiency, and control framework
• Manage collateral risk (concentration, haircuts, margin, counterparty exposure) and ensure regulatory compliance
• Resolve breaks and elevate issues; implement process and technology improvements
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external counterparties, custodians, and clearing banks
• Support new products, strategic initiatives, and system enhancements
