Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President for its Consumer Banking public relations team to lead strategic communications supporting expansion across key U.S. regions.

You will build strong ground relationships and elevate the firm’s local presence through proactive media engagement and community outreach. You will shape spokesperson narratives, coordinate with marketing and business leaders, and drive rapid-response counsel in partnership with corporate communications and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in public relations, media relations, or journalism within corporate or agency settings.
• Experience operating in regional/market-based communications roles.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with media and community stakeholders in diverse markets.
• Experience supporting growth or expansion initiatives.
• Excellent strategic thinking, writing, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to influence across a matrixed organization and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional expansion communications with localized media strategies aligned to business priorities.
• Drive proactive story development and spokesperson narratives for market opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with regional media, influencers, and community stakeholders.
• Provide rapid-response and issues management in partnership with risk teams.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure high-quality execution across earned and paid media.
• Develop press materials, executive communications, and thought leadership for new markets.
• Establish measurement and use insights to refine approach and market focus.
• Monitor industry regulations to anticipate issues in market-level planning.
