Job summary

CBRE is seeking a VP in Valuation & Advisory Services to prepare comprehensive appraisal reports, assess property values, and guide complex analyses. You will collect market data, review scope with clients, and ensure confidentiality under USPAP.

You will mentor teammates, drive project outcomes, and contribute to team goals while upholding CBRE's values. This role requires a BA/BS with 8+ years of commercial appraisal experience, licensure, and MAI preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college with minimum 8 years commercial appraisal experience.
• General State Certification or License required; MAI designation preferred.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong mathematical skills for percentages, fractions and financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare appraisal reports describing property characteristics, methods used and data evaluated.
• Identify property value through detailed appraisal analysis and defined scope.
• Collect data on comparables, sales, vacancies; conduct market studies and interviews.
• Communicate with clients about appraisal requests and project scope.
• Mentor team members and contribute to team goals; lead by example.
• Support CBRE RISE values and collaborate across related teams.
