Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Vice President of Real Estate to lead the organization's real estate strategy, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and portfolio management for its nationwide practice portfolio. The role reports to the Law Department and collaborates with executive leadership, finance, operations, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in corporate real estate portfolio management.
• 5+ years cross-functional experience with field operations.
• Proven track record in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and portfolio management.
• Deep understanding of commercial real estate markets and investment principles.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting expertise.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for all real estate-related matters.
• Manage over 200 lease properties; negotiate real estate-related agreements.
• Lead all lease renewals including landlord negotiations and legal reviews.
• Engage brokers as appropriate to assist in lease negotiations.
• Advise Operations on legal and financial implications of lease terms.
• Negotiate rent, tenant improvements and other key terms.
• Develop 3–5 year real estate strategy with Operations for the portfolio.
• Oversee development for new facilities and improvements to existing leased properties.
• Maintain design/construction standards and IT implementation for openings.
• Engage outside counsel and other service providers as necessary.
