Job summary

Kailera Therapeutics is seeking a Vice President of Program Management to lead the day-to-day PM function, ensure integrated plans are built and executed, and maintain visibility into milestones, dependencies, and risks. The role requires deep Phase 3 experience, strong leadership, and the ability to develop a high-performing PM team in a fast-moving biotech environment.

The position is hub-based onsite in Waltham, MA, reporting to the COO, with responsibility for Phase 3 through NDA submission

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in biotech or pharma with PM focus.
• Deep Phase 3 experience and NDA submission experience preferred.
• Strong team development and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated program management across Kailera's development portfolio, with primary accountability for Phase 3 programs.
• Drive evolution toward a portfolio-based framework with enterprise-wide milestone visibility and resource tracking.
• Build and maintain comprehensive integrated project plans, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Track and communicate program status, milestones, risks, and decisions with clarity.
• Mentor and develop a team of three Program Managers and contractors.
