Job summary

Kailera Therapeutics, Inc. in Waltham, MA is seeking a Vice President of Program Management to lead the day-to-day execution of late-stage development, primarily Phase 3, with a three-PM team and contractors.

You will build integrated plans, maintain milestones, manage cross-functional dependencies, and partner with Clinical, Regulatory, CMC, and Medical Affairs to ensure NDA readiness. This onsite role offers leadership and a chance to shape Kailera's portfolio.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in biotech or pharma.
• Experience leading Phase 3 programs through NDA submission.
• Direct people management of PM teams.
• Deep knowledge of integrated development planning and governance infrastructure.
• Experience in general medicine therapeutic areas; oncology backgrounds less preferred.
• Experience in lean, fast-moving biotech environments.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated program management for Phase 3 programs across Kailera's portfolio.
• Develop portfolio-wide visibility into milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and priorities.
• Build and maintain comprehensive integrated project plans and cross-functional dependencies.
• Track and communicate program status, milestones, critical path activities, and risks.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of PMs and contractors.
• Present program updates to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory, CMC, and Medical Affairs to ensure NDA readiness.
• Ensure compliant program governance and reporting structures.
