Job summary

Viridan Group seeks a senior product leader to own the hardware portfolio, including BESS and UPS, defining the multi-year strategy and roadmaps. You will drive products from concept to commercial deployment, coordinating with engineering, R&D, operations, supply chain, and customers to meet timing and cost targets.

This is a senior leadership role reporting to the executive team. You will build and lead the product management function, hire and develop talent, and ensure products achieve

Qualifications

• 15+ years in product management or engineering for power hardware.
• 5+ years leading product teams at director level or above.
• Proven record taking BESS/UPS or power product lines from concept to launch.
• Deep understanding of battery energy storage and/or critical power systems.
• Experience with certification standards (UL/IEC) and interconnection requirements.
• Strong pricing, cost and margin management with P&L ownership.
• Customer-facing experience with data centers, utilities or large commercial and industrial markets.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year product strategy and roadmap for BESS, UPS, and critical power lines.
• Lead new product introduction from concept to commercial launch.
• Translate customer needs into MRDs/PRDs for engineering.
• Manage product lifecycle with stage-gate processes and launch readiness.
• Drive product economics including pricing, costs, margins and P&L.
• Oversee certification and compliance planning across UL/IEC/IEEE standards.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing on positioning, tools, and content.
• Build and lead a product management team and establish standards.
