Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in product management, marketing, brand management, or commercial strategy.
  • Minimum 7 years of executive-level leadership experience leading multi-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing product and marketing strategies that drive significant business growth.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within manufacturing, building products, consumer durables, or related industries.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing significant budgets and investment decisions.
  • Exceptional executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Experience within cabinetry, building materials, construction products, home improvement, or related channels.
  • Public company experience.
  • Experience supporting both professional dealer/distributor and builder customer segments.
  • Proven track record leading enterprise brand transformation and innovation initiatives.

Job Description: The Vice President, Product & Marketing – New Construction is a highly visible executive leadership role responsible for shaping the future growth, innovation, and market leadership of our New Construction business. Leading product strategy, marketing, brand management, and customer engagement initiatives, this leader will drive profitable growth across builder and distributor channels while strengthening our position as an industry leader. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, customer insight, innovation, and commercial execution. The successful candidate will leverage deep market expertise, consumer and customer insights, and strong business acumen to create winning product portfolios, accelerate growth, and elevate brand value. In addition to leading the New Construction Product & Marketing organization, this executive will oversee enterprise brand strategy, corporate marketing initiatives, and major customer and industry events, ensuring a consistent and compelling market presence across all stakeholder groups.


Responsibilities

Lead Product Strategy & Innovation Define and execute a long term product strategy aligned with business growth objectives and customer needs. Drive the development and optimization of a market leading product portfolio, including innovation, new product launches, category expansion, and lifecycle management. Identify emerging market trends, competitive opportunities, and evolving customer preferences to create sustainable competitive advantage. Establish product roadmaps that balance customer needs, commercial priorities, and operational capabilities. Partner closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to bring innovative products to market and maximize profitability. Champion a culture of innovation that strengthens customer partnerships and differentiates the Company in the marketplace.


Drive Commercial Marketing Excellence Lead integrated marketing strategies across builder and distributor channels. Develop compelling positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with professional customers and consumers. Oversee channel marketing, digital marketing, content strategy, demand generation, and customer engagement programs. Utilize market intelligence and customer insights to enhance business performance and customer experience. Establish performance metrics and analytics that measure effectiveness, drive accountability, and maximize return on marketing investment.


Shape Enterprise Brand Strategy Serve as the executive leader responsible for the Company's brand vision, strategy, and standards. Ensure alignment of messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all customer, partner, and corporate communications. Strengthen brand awareness, reputation, and market presence through strategic brand initiatives. Partner with Corporate Communications and executive leadership to support strategic communications, public relations, and reputation management efforts.


Elevate Customer & Industry Engagement Lead strategy and execution for major trade shows, customer events, industry conferences, and corporate experiences. Ensure events strengthen customer relationships, support business objectives, and reinforce brand positioning. Evaluate event performance and optimize investments to maximize business impact.


Build High Performing Teams Recruit, develop, and inspire a high performing team across Product Management, Marketing, Brand Management, and Events. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop organizational capabilities, leadership pipelines, and succession plans that support future growth. Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leadership.


Drive Business Performance Manage significant investments and operating budgets to support strategic priorities and deliver results. Establish performance measures that track growth, profitability, market share, and customer acquisition. Partner in annual operating planning, strategic planning, and long range business initiatives. Deliver sustainable revenue growth and profitable market expansion.
