Job summary

Almo, based in Philadelphia, seeks a Vice President of Purchasing for Pro AV Distribution to lead global procurement, inventory, and demand planning. The role drives profitability and supplier partnerships while shaping strategy across sales, finance, product management, and operations.

The candidate will demonstrate 10+ years in purchasing leadership, distribution or Pro AV sectors, and strong financial/negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Qualifications

What we look for in a candidate:

• Bachelor's Degree


• 10+ years relevant purchasing and product management experience


• Distribution experience, preferably in consumer electronics and/or appliance product industry


• Working knowledge of Word and Excel (advanced capabilities with these tools would be advantageous)


• Driven and Motivated to continue to source products, drive the right product mix and management function at Almo.


• Excellent organization and communication skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background.


• History of strong leadership to drive recruiting and build teams.


• Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.


• Possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, the drive to make that vision a reality, and technically credible to lead teams with significant product expertise


• Some travel is required
