Performance Food Group in Minnesota is seeking a senior procurement leader to manage all aspects of product sourcing, vendor negotiations, and staff coaching. You will work with manufacturers to develop programs, optimize profitability, and ensure supplier performance aligns with company goals.
You will supervise teams, streamline purchasing processes, control inventory, and drive cost savings while maintaining excellent internal and external partnerships.
Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
Responsible for managing all aspects of product procurement, including program negotiation with manufacturers, hiring, training, coaching and counseling of all staff members; achieving corporate goals as established by the senior management team, ensuring corporate profitability as related to vendor bill-back and inbound freight programs, development and execution of annual marketing programs. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
6-10 years Procurement or related area with supervisory experience.
Bachelors degree
10+ years Procurement with supervisory/management experience in foodservice industry.
Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP)
