JOB DETAILS

Department: Administration FTE: 1.0 (80 hours per pay period) Shift(s): Days Location: In-Person Purpose of this position: Provides strategic and operational leadership for assigned areas including excellence in clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, financial outcomes and employee engagement. Oversight for assigned patient care areas or initiatives and collaborates with executive leadership to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• - Develop long-range strategic and operational plans to ensure that assigned area objectives are being achieved
• - Ensure integration of resources and needs within assigned services and other areas of HHS
• - Ensure the measurement, assessment and continuous improvement of all staff productivity, quality, and financial performance
• - Collaboratively establish key performance and success indicators in the areas of clinical, functional and financial outcomes, patient and staff satisfaction, employee engagement and measure performance against those indicators
• - Ensure clinical practice and patient care meet national and local standards, are based on recognized best practices, and reflect evidence-based practice
• - Oversee management of business processes and promote efficiency within assigned areas and by determining the right level, skill mix and number of employees, and ensure workforce is trained to competently perform the work required
• - Select, develop, evaluate and mentor directors and managers assigned. Direct the work of assigned services leadership in the establishment of priorities, policies, procedures, resource allocation and service delivery
• - Forge a collaborative relationship with medical staff to continually provide best possible care and services consistent with strategic plans, patient safety expectations, and customer service expectations
• - Champion an interdisciplinary approach to leadership across functions in partnership with other leaders, physician leaders and other organizational leaders/stakeholders. Work with other members of the leadership team to ensure that patient care is provided in an integrated manner
• - Responsible for the preparation, review, and management of all ambulatory services and assigned operational department budgets to meet or exceed budgetary expectations
• - Establish and maintain systems to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
• - Effect compliance with applicable laws, regulations and accreditation standards and promote a culture of compliance
• - Through a collaborative approach, provide direction to Population Health on strategy/operation integration
• - Lead and participate in special projects in support of organizational goals

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• - Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field
• - Five years of related leadership experience within a healthcare organization including director or executive level experience managing perioperative, procedural, and/or radiology functions

Certification/License Required:

• - RN licensure
• - Specialty certification in nursing required upon hire or within one year of employment
