USMD Hospital at Arlington, LP seeks an experienced Nursing Director to lead the Operating Room, Day Surgery, Pre-assessment, PACU, and Sterile Processing. You will align departmental goals with hospital bylaws and regulatory bodies while ensuring safe, efficient perioperative operations.
The role requires BSN with Texas RN licensure and 5–7 years OR experience plus 5–10 years in leadership, with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Strong budget and staff management skills are essential.

Provide leadership to the department of Operating Room, Day Surgery, Pre-assessment, Post-anesthesia Care Unit, Sterile Processing, in accordance with the bylaws of the hospital and the bylaws, rules, and regulations of its medical staff, departments, and committees, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and accrediting bodies.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required. MSN/MHA/MBA Preferred.
Current RN Licensure, either Texas or Compact is required. BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.
5-7 years of Operating Room experience required in hospital setting, 5-10 years management/leadership experience.
