Job summary

CureDuchenne seeks a strategic Vice President of Principal Gifts to lead a national major gifts program during a pivotal growth phase. Reporting to the CEO, this executive will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward high-capacity donors to fuel research, care, and long-term impact.

With a strong emphasis on donor engagement and cross-functional collaboration, you will expand the pipeline, partner with Board members and volunteers, and drive transformative philanthropic investments in Duchenne

Qualifications

• Proven track record of securing major gifts from high-net-worth individuals or foundations.
• Experience building donor pipelines and national fundraising strategies.
• Ability to educate and engage diverse stakeholders around complex science.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of 40–75 high-capacity donors and prospects.
• Cultivate relationships with family offices, entrepreneurs, foundations, and philanthropists.
• Secure annual, campaign, endowed, planned, and transformational gifts.
• Lead nationwide engagement, cultivation, and solicitation strategies for major gifts.
• Partner with leadership and Board members to advance solicitations and strategy.
