Qualifications

• Experience with buy-side and 3rd party vendors.
• Established sales relationships in data business (index or valuation preferred).
• Willingness to travel and meet performance metrics and quota.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.
• Ability to close deals and manage client relationships.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform well under pressure with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client acquisition process, from prospecting to developing pipelines and managing relationships.
• Source new sales opportunities through proactive outreach and existing networks.
• Provide high-touch coverage for major institutional clients with regular sessions to pitch services and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with Digital Sales on targeted campaigns and client events to close deals.
• Coordinate visits with Pricing and Index product partners to showcase offerings.
• Research client base to identify key players and decision-makers.
• Support and educate Institutional Sales teams on new product offerings.
• Work with internal product groups to understand product nuances and drive go-to-market strategies.
• Perform competitor analysis and stay updated on industry trends.
