Job summary

Exeter Finance is seeking a VP Pricing & Analytics to lead analytics-driven strategies supporting growth, credit performance, and risk management. You will advise senior leadership on credit policy, pricing, fraud mitigation, and origination strategies while partnering with technology, data, and modeling teams to implement analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in analytics, business strategy, credit risk, originations, financial services, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience managing analytics, strategy, or business intelligence teams.
• Demonstrated success influencing business decisions through data driven insights and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to lead complex analytical initiatives and develop high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of credit risk, pricing strategy, originations analytics, and predictive modeling concepts, including the ability to interpret model outputs and translate results into business recommendations.
• Experience with business intelligence and data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics and strategy initiatives focused on originations performance, credit quality, profitability, and risk management.
• Analyze origination performance, market trends, competitor activity, and credit performance to identify opportunities and risks and recommend strategic actions.
• Develop recommendations related to credit policy, pricing, fraud mitigation, and stipulation strategies based on analysis of origination performance, business results, and market conditions.
• Provide data driven recommendations to senior leadership regarding credit, pricing, fraud, and origination strategies.
• Collaborate with modeling and data science teams to evaluate, interpret, and provide business context for predictive models and analytical tools.
• Lead cross-functional implementation of strategy changes by partnering with Information Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Oversee business reporting, performance analytics, and management insights to support effective decision making and strategic planning.
• Monitor strategy outcomes and recommend adjustments based on performance results and changing market conditions.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and analytics teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.

Job Description Summary

The VP Pricing & Analytics leads the development and execution of analytics driven strategies that support profitable growth, credit performance, and risk management objectives. This role serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing recommendations related to credit policy, pricing, fraud mitigation, and origination strategies. The VP partners across business, technology, data, and modeling teams to develop and implement analytics driven initiatives that support originations performance and business objectives. Leading a team of analytics professionals, this role translates complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations that support informed decision-making and drive business results.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

The pay range for this role is $155,900.00 - $226,000.00 annually.
