Leap29 seeks an experienced Vice President or Director of Preconstruction to lead and develop the preconstruction function for a growing distributed energy business. Qualifications

• Experience leading preconstruction for utility-scale or distributed energy projects.
• Strong understanding of EPC contract structures and project delivery models.
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills, with vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction across estimating, scheduling, procurement and value engineering.
• Assess risks to support project structuring and contract negotiations.
• Oversee conceptual, detailed and firm-fixed-price estimates with budgeting accuracy.
• Develop procurement strategies including long-lead equipment sourcing.
• Direct technical and commercial responses to customer RFPs to deliver executable solutions.
