Job summary

Appfire is a remote-first software company with 800+ employees serving teams worldwide. We seek a Vice President, Product Management, Platform & Innovation to lead the Appfire Platform, the Innovation portfolio, and our Atlassian relationship.

You will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap, partner across Engineering, Go-to-Market, Finance, and Legal, and drive accountable outcomes. You will build and guide a high-performing product leadership team, shaping strategy across the broader

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible product management experience, including 5+ years leading teams of product managers or product leaders.
• Demonstrated success defining and scaling cloud platforms, shared services, APIs, or developer-facing capabilities in a SaaS, XaaS, or consumption-based business.
• Strong executive communication and leadership skills, with proven ability to align stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategy and Portfolio Leadership to establish vision, investment thesis, and roadmaps across Appfire Platform, Innovation, and Atlassian relationships.
• Own Platform Product Leadership by delivering shared platform capabilities, AI-enabled services, and clear adoption metrics.
• Direct Innovation and New Growth by identifying and launching net-new product opportunities with disciplined 0-to-1 approaches.
• Oversee Atlassian Technical Relationship as senior product owner, tracking platform/API changes and translating them into product opportunities.
• Provide People and Organizational Leadership to build and nurture PM teams, set expectations, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
