Job summary

Ascension Wisconsin seeks a senior pharmacy leader to oversee clinical pharmacy services across the organization, ensuring high quality and affordable care while improving patient outcomes. You will guide local and regional clinical pharmacy leaders and align strategic initiatives with operational and financial KPIs.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, a PharmD or equivalent, and Wisconsin licensure, with preferred background in residency, specialty services, and 340B compliance.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of local and regionally-based clinical pharmacy leaders to achieve high performance.
• Assess industry trends and develop plans to address risks and opportunities.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Oversee the development and execution of strategies for delivering clinical pharmacy services across the organization in order to achieve high quality, affordable health care that improves patient outcomes.
• Direct a team of local and regionally-based clinical pharmacy leaders in order to achieve consistently high levels of performance meeting clinical, operational and financial key process indicators.
• Assess external clinical pharmacy industry trends and developments that represent risk and opportunities for the organization. Develop short and long term plans to respond to potential risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance with regulations of state, federal and other licensing and regulatory agencies at all hospitals, outpatient pharmacies and other locations of medication management.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Work Experience

• 7 years of experience required.
• 5 years of cumulative leadership or management experience required.
• Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• At least 5+ years of leadership experience in pharmacy
• Advanced degree preferred (MBA or other relevant graduate degree)
• Experience with specialty pharmacy services
• Experience with infusion services
• Strong knowledge and experience with 340B programs and compliance
