State Street seeks a Vice President, Penetration Testing Analyst, to lead senior-level offensive security engagements within the Threat Intelligence and Assurance organization. You will act as the in-house technical authority for complex tests and validate remediation to ensure findings are accurate and defensible.

You will guide scoping, test planning, and engagements end-to-end, coordinating with finding owners, external providers, and security teams, while mentoring peers and maturing

Qualificações

• Extensive hands-on offensive security experience in regulated sectors.
• Expert-level knowledge of AD/Entra ID, privilege escalation, and attacker techniques.
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and testing of detection/response capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as senior technical lead across engagement lifecycle including scoping, test planning, rules of engagement, execution oversight, and remediation planning.
• Provide real-time technical guidance during engagements and assess tester activity and risk.
• Hold external testing providers to high technical standards and validate evidence quality and severity ratings.
• Lead coordination with owners and engineering teams to translate findings into actionable remediation criteria.
• Define test criteria and outcomes, retest fixes against attack paths, and validate closure.
• Assess remediation across estate including variant attack paths and implementation consistency.
• Make final technical closure decisions with evidence-based reporting for leadership.
• Present outcomes to senior governance forums and defend technical conclusions.
• Design and lead targeted TTP assessments and purple team exercises to validate detections.
• Feed gaps to Detection Engineering, Assurance, and Security Operations for improvements.
• Mentor teammates and partner teams on methods, plans, and lessons learned.
