Job summary

State Street seeks a Vice President, Penetration Testing Analyst to lead complex offensive security engagements within Threat Intelligence and Assurance. You will own testing and validation across high-value systems, guiding remediation, and presenting findings to leadership.

This senior role demands deep hands-on expertise in penetration testing, adversary simulation, and MITRE ATT&CK. You will mentor teams, coordinate with internal partners and external providers, and help mature our internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Cybersecurity.
• 10+ years of related security experience.
• Industry-recognized offensive security certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, OSCE3, CRTO, GXPN.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement lifecycle: scoping, planning, rules of engagement, oversight, remediation.
• Provide real-time guidance during tests and assess operational risk.
• Evaluate external testers against attack paths, evidence, severity, MITRE mapping.
• Turn findings into remediation requirements and validation criteria.
• Retest fixes against the original and alternative attack paths.
• Assess remediation across the estate for new exposures.
• Make final closure calls with evidence for leadership.
• Present outcomes to senior leadership and governance forums.
