Job summary

Citi Belfast seeks a Markets In-Business Risk and Governance Lead (Vice President) to strengthen risk governance across Markets Operations. You will coordinate controls for payment flows, asset movement and related policies, while partnering with global teams to deliver remediation and governance initiatives.

You will analyze risk events, drive data-driven control enhancements, and manage stakeholder communications in a hybrid model with a strong focus on compliance and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Business Analyst or Project Manager within the Financial Services/Investment Banking industry.
• Knowledge of Markets Operations and payments/risk & control functions is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to document findings and propose solutions.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and process mapping skillsets.
• Data management skills including use of AI tools.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support governance and oversight for global movement of funds/assets related controls.
• Compile governance forum agendas and materials on payment metrics and controls.
• Capture quarterly control and governance data gathering and sign off for MCA attestations.
• Monitor in-scope applications for payment/movement activities and determine uplift requirements.
• Assess deviations to movement of funds/assets policy and related updates.
• Collaborate with Operations SMEs to define business requirements for controls.
• Analyze Operational Risk Events and identify themes for control enhancements.
• Manage control and governance tasks, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
• Address ad-hoc queries related to payment controls and governance.
• Foster relationships with business/tech stakeholders and participate in governance workshops.
• Partner with Fraud and Processing Risk Operational Risk Management on risk issues.
• Identify risks and escalate as needed; exercise independent judgment in day-to-day tasks.
