Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a VP of Advanced Pricing and Segmentation for the Property & Casualty Finance organization. You will set strategy and lead capabilities across analytics, automation, and system modernization to improve decision-making and efficiency.

You will influence senior leaders, drive cross-functional initiatives, and shape the long-term vision for pricing and analytics within a large Fortune 100 company.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, or related field.
• FCAS designation required.
• 10+ years of financial experience with at least 5-8 years post-FCAS.
• Deep knowledge of finance and pricing processes underlying P&C products; strong influence, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops the vision and roadmap for P&C actuarial analytics and transformation.
• Aligns with Technology, the Enterprise Data Office, and leaders to prioritize pricing sophistication.
• Identifies tools, data, resources for driving pricing decisions and target returns.
• Leads design and implementation of analytical tools, new capabilities, and scalable improvements.
• Influences senior leaders on priorities, investments, and change management.
